Green Price Room
The larger of our three beautiful Victorian bedrooms with dual aspect views, this stunning room is a treasure.
Complete with king size double bed and en suite bath and shower, this special room has stunning views over our gardens. Our rare Victorian brass half tester bed is very comfortable, furnished with Vispring mattress, and luxury Egyptian cotton sheets. The bathroom is elegantly refurbished with a rare period marble topped basin, bath and shower. Views from the bathroom look over the motte of Norton castle.
We provide all that is necessary for a relaxing stay including top quality towels, miniature toiletries, bathrobes, hairdryer, and free superfast wifi (for personal use).
The Green Price room is named after the nineteenth century railway baron, landowner and MP, who developed Norton as a model village for his tenants and built the vicarage (and where, after a slump in the value of railway shares, he spent his latter years).
We invite you to arrive from 4pm. Tea and homemade scones or cake are available for guests arriving between 4-5pm. Whilst staying with us we welcome you to take advantage of our stunning Victorian study and drawing room to read, simply relax, or unwind.
